2008 NEW PROGRAM: EcoZone!
2008 promises to be yet another spectacular year! We're pleased to announce the addition of Fremont Fair's EcoZone, an area of destination for people seeking information and knowledge about opportunities and suggestions for sustainable living. Fortunately, there are many organizations and resources joining the fair that are dedicated to helping people take steps down the path to a sustainable lifestyle. There is more information to come about this exciting new program as well as other scheduled for 2008- This website gets updated frequently, so keep checking back!
Fremont Solstice Parade

Kick off your summer celebration with the 20th annual Fremont Solstice Parade —unlocked, unchained, and unhinged! This year’s Parade begins at NW 36th & 3rd NW towards the Center of the Universe at 35th & Fremont, south on Fremont, headed east on 34th towards Gasworks Park. Picnic, Live Music at Gasworks until sundown.
Seattle Art Car Blowout!

Fremont Fair is home to the 3rd largest Art Car show in the country! Come check out dozens and dozens of these wonderfully wacky, wheeled art pieces – decked out, welded, painted, sculpted, glittered and turned into magically entertaining rolling canvasses. They are all as unique as the artists themselves—sure to put a smile on your face and a laugh in your belly!

Circus Contraption is a nonprofit collective of over a dozen physical performers and musicians. We strive to create striking, unique theatrical works rooted in circus arts. Look for performers wandering the grounds!

There’s something for everyone at our exciting new kids area: Playground in the Park! Come out to enjoy the grass, the sun and some of the incredible family activities we have planned.
More Fun for Kids!
Bubbleman! Saturday, 1:30-2:30 near the Waterfront Stage. Garry Golightly, aka, The Bubbleman, is celebrating 25 years of bubbling throughout the world! His award winning bubbleshow is themed around the environment and recycled household items for making bubbles.Ropeworks! Sunday, 12-1:30 near the Waterfront Stage. Ropeworks jump rope performance acrobatic and dance team combines performance comedy and audience interaction.
Clowns Unlimited! 10-7pm, both days near the Waterfront Stage. Clowns Unlimited will be on site operating a bounce house, an obstacle course, a climbing wall and a rope climbing course. Fun for all ages!
Fremont Abbey Fun Activities! 11-5pm, both days near the Waterfront Stage. The Fremont Abbey is a nonprofit arts space providing diverse arts education programs with a focus on music, visual, and literary arts for youth and adults. At the Fair, they are providing a variety of kids hands-on art activities.
